About LUMI LIULI

LUMI LIULI is a contemporary Liuli art studio from Zibo, China, dedicated to creating handcrafted Liuli artworks through the traditional  lampworking technique.

Zibo has long been known as one of China’s important centers of ceramics and Liuli craftsmanship. Rooted in this cultural heritage, LUMI LIULI was born from a desire to reinterpret a centuries-old art form through a modern artistic language.

The founder of LUMI LIULI has spent years working within the traditional art field, with a deep appreciation for Chinese ink painting, floral motifs, landscapes, and Eastern aesthetics. Over time, we began to see that traditional Liuli deserved a new expression — one that could move beyond conventional display and become part of contemporary interiors, fashion, collecting, and refined gifting culture.

With this vision, LUMI LIULI brings together traditional craftsmanship, modern design, and Eastern artistic sensibility. Each piece is individually shaped by hand in the flame, requiring patience, precision, and an intimate understanding of heat, color, and form.

Our works are often inspired by flowers, nature, and symbolic elements from Eastern culture. Through layers of transparent color, delicate lines, and sculptural detail, we aim to capture not only the appearance of natural beauty, but also its quiet emotion and lasting presence.

Over the years, LUMI LIULI’s works have been recognized by cultural institutions, museums, collectors, and art lovers. Selected pieces have been exhibited in national and regional museum spaces, glass art exhibitions, and cultural exchange programs, helping bring the beauty of Chinese Liuli craftsmanship to a wider audience.

To us, Liuli is more than glass.
It is fire, time, handcraft, and culture transformed into form.

At LUMI LIULI, we believe traditional craftsmanship should not remain only in history or behind museum glass. It should be reimagined, collected, displayed, worn, gifted, and lived with.

Our mission is to bring Chinese Liuli art into contemporary life and onto the global stage — creating works that connect heritage with modern elegance, and Eastern artistry with the world.
