The sunflowers are detailed and lifelike, while the tiny face on the lotus leaf adds just the right amount of whimsy. You can tell the artist really thought about the personality of the piece.
Such a cheerful little piece. I put it near the window in my kitchen and it feels like having a tiny patch of sunflowers indoors all year round.
There is definitely a lot going on in this piece, and at first I wasn’t sure if it was a little too busy for me. But after a few days, all those odd little details are exactly what I like about it. It has so much personality.
It has such a happy, playful feeling without being overly childish. The sunflowers look beautiful and the tiny bee is ridiculously cute. It’s now sitting right on my desk.
